Privacy Policy
Last Updated: March 10, 2026
1. Introduction
Month0 LLC ("we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal data in connection with our inventory management Platform, websites, and mobile applications. By interacting with the Platform (as a visitor, customer, or authorized user), you agree to the data practices described in this policy.
2. Data We Collect
We collect information you provide directly to us, information collected automatically, and information from third parties:
- Account & Contact Information: Name, email address, phone number, restaurant/business name, location details, login credentials, and billing information.
- Operational Data: We collect extensive operational data you upload to power the platform, including invoices (PDFs/Photos), supplier details, custom ingredient lists, built recipes, and physical count histories.
- Integration Data: We ingest Point-of-Sale (POS) transaction data ("Z-Reports") to calculate real-time theoretical inventory depletion and demand forecasting.
- Automatic Usage Data: Information about your device, IP address, browser type, operating system, pages viewed, interactions, and session duration.
3. AI Extraction & Data Processing
Our Platform utilizes advanced Artificial Intelligence (AI) models, including Google Gemini, to automate data entry. This involves Optical Character Recognition (OCR) of your invoices, unit normalization, and dual-SKU resolution.
Strict AI Isolation Policy: We do not use your proprietary operational data (e.g., your specific recipes, negotiated supplier pricing, or sales volumes) to train publicly accessible AI models that could benefit your competitors. Your invoice data is processed temporarily via secure API payloads strictly to return structured JSON data to your isolated tenant.
4. How We Use Your Data
We use the collected information for the following purposes based on contractual necessity, legitimate interests, or your consent:
- To operate, provide, and maintain the Platform, including account setup, authentication, and the "Smart Draft" forecasting engines.
- To process subscription payments and enforce our agreements.
- To communicate with you regarding support, technical updates, and changes to our policies.
- To generate private, internal analytics and real-time variance alerts for your explicit use.
- To improve our Platform's performance and security (e.g., fraud prevention).
We may also anonymize your data to create aggregated statistics. "Anonymous Information" does not identify you individually, and we may use or disclose it without restriction.
5. Multi-Tenant Data Isolation & Sharing
We do not sell personal data.
Month0 operates a "Clean Break" multi-tenant architecture. We guarantee that your Organization's proprietary pricing, variance reports, and recipes are strictly partitioned and inaccessible to other tenants.
We may share personal data only in the following limited circumstances:
- Service Providers: With trusted partners who help us operate (e.g., Stripe for payments, Firebase for database hosting, Resend for emails). They process data only on our behalf under strict protection agreements.
- Legal Obligations: To comply with applicable laws, respond to lawful requests, or protect our legal rights.
- Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
6. Data Retention and Security
We retain personal data for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, including legal and accounting requirements. When no longer required, we take reasonable steps to delete or anonymize it.
You own your data. You retain full ownership rights to your recipes and sales history and may request a secure export at any time.
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures (including encryption in transit and at rest) to protect personal data. However, no system or internet transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Your Rights and Choices
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to:
- Access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data.
- Object to or restrict the processing of your data.
- Request data portability.
- Withdraw your consent.
You may exercise these rights by contacting us at privacy@month0.com. We may request verification of your identity before processing your request.
8. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last Updated" date will reflect these changes. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
